VOC Port Authority was honored with the ‘Newsmaker of the year’ award in 15th South East CEO Conclave and Awards 2024 event at Chennai. Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, received the award on behalf of the Port from Shri Gopal Krishna, former Secretary, MoPSW and Shri Sunil Paliwal, IAS, Chairperson, Chennai Port Authority, on 03.07.2024. VOC Port Authority was honoured with the award of excellence for being the 3rd best Port of the country (in the category of Ports handling more than 5,00,000 TEUs of Containers) at the Post Budget Industry Meet 2025 in Mumbai.
